Reading With a Dog offers a supportive, comforting and non-judgmental environment for young readers to regularly practice emerging reading skills.

Suitable for ages 5-10, readers spend 10 minutes with Canine Friends registered therapy dog, Moses, and his handler. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Tamariki are welcome to bring any book they would like to read to Moses, or choose from our shelves at the library.

Bookings are essential, please arrive promptly for your time slot.

IMPORTANT: This booking is for 5 sessions - booking once guarantees your time slot on each of the following dates:

Tuesday 15 October
Tuesday 22 October
Tuesday 29 October
Tuesday 26 November
Tuesday 3 December

Please do not book a ticket if you cannot make it to all the dates above - this is a popular programme and others on the waitlist may be able to make the commitment.
