Friends of the Library General Meeting

Friends of Te Ao Mārama - Tauranga City Libraries

Join us for our monthly general meetings and enjoy hearing a guest speaker and sharing a morning tea together.

Occurs on the fourth Thursday of the month.

Friends of the Library is for anyone who is passionate about all things library!

Formed in 1985, Friends have lobbied vigorously for new libraries in Pāpāmoa and Greerton, and for the continuation of the Mobile Library.

The Friends sponsor the popular Kia Kaha Te Pānui, Summer reading programme for children and teens and also supply the Joyce West Book Collection, chosen from the winners of the NZ Book Awards for Children and Young Adults, and worthy NZ and Bay of Plenty authors.
