BorrowBox

Your Tauranga City library membership provides you with free access to BorrowBox with best-selling authors for adults, young adults and children

Our BorrowBox collection has thousands of e-books and e-audiobooks, and a selection of magazines from around the world. Enjoy reading on your smartphone, tablet, e-reader or computer.

BorrowBox

  • You can borrow up to four e-books and four e-audiobooks at a time.
  • You can also borrow up to 10 current issue magazines and unlimited back issues.
  • Each loan will last two weeks, with the item automatically returning itself at the end of that time.
  • If the e-book or e-audiobook you want to read is on loan to someone else, you can place a reserve. BorrowBox will send you an email to let you know when it is available for you to download.

The BorrowBox app remembers the items you borrowed when you were signed in using your library card. If you change your library card, open the app, go to the account details screen and touch reset. You can then sign in with your new card details. If it’s important to you to retain your previous history, contact us and tell us your name, old library card number and your new library card number. We will arrange to have your accounts connected so you can see your complete borrowing history.

Please note that the Kindle e-reader from Amazon is not compatible with our BorrowBox collection.
