Story Box Library
Story Box Library is a great way to get kids engaged with stories and reading.
Offering short videos of interesting storytellers reading a well curated collection of children’s picture books.
Closed captions are available and there is a growing collection of books presented in Australian Sign Language. Each story is also accompanied by an activity time sheet with suggestions for a further discovery and learning ideas related to the book. All you need to get started is a library card and PIN.
Please note that Story Box Library is for the personal use of library members only. It cannot be used by schools, other organisations or community groups.
Accessing through a web browser
- Go to the Story Box Library webpage
- Choose Tauranga City Libraries from the Library drop down list
- Enter your library card number and PIN
- Acknowledge the Terms and Conditions
- Click on Log In
Using the Story Box Library app
- Download the Story Box Library from the App Store or Google Play
- Touch Get started
- Touch Log in with library access
- Touch the Library search box, choose Tauranga City Libraries and touch OK
- Enter your library card number and PIN
- Touch Log in
- Swipe left until you get to Get started
The app will remember you unless you close it. Once closed it will completely reload so that it opens in a fresh state, and you will need to log in again.
